Typical course content

This course takes an approach that is interdisciplinary the study of poetry, prose, and drama. Creative writing modules will build up your knowledge of short stories, novels, poetry, scriptwriting and narrative non-fiction.

Your degree could be further complemented by taking up to 25% of modules in other subject areas, including modern languages, music, and philosophy.

Your first year will introduce to new types of literature and new creative and critical approaches. You will take three core modules to build up your understanding of literary criticism, essay writing and research that is collaborative. This will allow you to build your perspectives that are own.
